Soledad de Graciano Sánchez advances Olympic pool construction

Construction of a new multi-sport complex featuring an Olympic-sized swimming pool in the San Antonio neighborhood of Soledad de Graciano Sánchez has reached 30 percent completion. Mayor Juan Manuel Navarro Muñiz reported that current works are focused on assembling roof trusses and preparing the main access area.

Located at the ‘21 de Marzo’ Sports Unit, the project represents a municipal investment of 22.3 million pesos. The facility is designed to support high-performance sports, physical activity, and community gathering. The complex will include official competition facilities, stands for 600 spectators, a gym, locker rooms, showers, restrooms, administrative offices, and a warehouse.

The goal of the infrastructure is to provide local athletes with professional training conditions, reducing the need to travel to other parts of the city to practice swimming.
