Soledad de Graciano Sánchez boosts industry and launches Xantolo cultural parade

The municipal government of Soledad de Graciano Sánchez, led by Mayor Juan Manuel Navarro Muñiz, is strengthening dialogue with firms in the El Nogal Industrial Park to promote employment, talent training, and expansion of local businesses. Representatives from five companies highlighted the municipality’s commitment to infrastructure, security, and urban projects, and agreed to channel job openings through the municipal employment board and partner with local schools for workforce development.

In parallel, the city is preparing a municipal Xantolo comparsa for the Day of the Dead celebrations. The 64‑member group began rehearsals under the direction of the municipal Education and Civic Action Department, aiming to feature a traditional parade, altar competitions, and musical performances that preserve Huastec cultural heritage, with the mayor’s support to expand the event’s reach.
