Soledad de Graciano Sánchez Community Centers provide training and sports

The Municipal System for Integral Family Development (DIF) in Soledad de Graciano Sánchez is operating eight Community Development Centers to provide sports, cultural, educational, and vocational training to local families. These centers aim to bring opportunities directly to neighborhoods, reducing the need for residents to travel long distances.

In the most recent reported period, the network recorded 229 activities and served over 20,000 beneficiaries across locations including Praderas del Maurel, Rivas Guillén Norte, Rivas Guillén Sur, 21 de Marzo, CAF San Luis 1, Santo Tomás, Primero de Mayo, and Las Huertas.

Program offerings include physical activities such as taekwondo, aerobics, and soccer, as well as educational support like English classes, computing, and school tutoring. Vocational training workshops cover skills such as cooking, baking, sewing, and beauty services. Additionally, the centers provide social services including psychological orientation, social work, and medication donations.
