Soledad de Graciano Sánchez expands fire response and school safety

The municipal Civil Protection department of Soledad de Graciano Sánchez has intensified training for its personnel in firefighting, pre‑hospital care and high‑impact rescue techniques. Director Martín Bravo Galicia reported that during the first three months of the year the agency responded to about 500 grass‑land fires and coordinated with CONAFOR on higher‑risk incidents, achieving a 95 % immediate‑response rate.

At the same time, the municipal Guard tasked with the "Escuela Segura" program is maintaining continuous surveillance at roughly 280 public and private educational institutions throughout the July‑August vacation period. Patrols, called "Panteras," operate in pre‑schools, primary, secondary schools and universities to deter vandalism, theft and other disturbances, while also assisting with community clean‑up and water delivery.
