Soledad de Graciano Sánchez Expands Municipal Guard Recruitment and Starts Youth Camp

Municipal mayor Juan Manuel Navarro Muñiz announced that 50 candidates have begun the evaluation process to join the Guardia Civil Municipal of Soledad de Graciano Sánchez. The administration aims for at least 40 of the aspirants to complete academy training and enter operational duties, adding new personnel to municipal forces, traffic, social proximity, forensic and gender units.

The mayor also revealed ongoing urban works, including the paving of Avenida Acapulco between Las Hadas and San Felipe and a second phase of the Camino al Ejido La Libertad corridor, coordinated with state and neighboring municipal authorities to improve mobility and local development.

In parallel, the Guardia Civil launched the summer camp "Pequeños Guardianes 2026" for 95 children from Valle de San Isidro. Over six weeks participants will receive educational and recreational activities focused on values, prevention culture, and community integration, receiving kits with caps and shirts. "Hoy damos inicio a una actividad que refleja el compromiso de nuestro Gobierno Municipal con la formación de mejores ciudadanos desde la infancia," said Secretary General Benjamín Pérez Álvarez.
