Soledad de Graciano Sánchez hosts Ambulante 2026 documentary film tour

Soledad de Graciano Sánchez has been established as an official venue for Ambulante 2026, Mexico’s premier documentary film tour. The event is hosted at the Doroteo Arango Theater and Cultural Center, offering free screenings to local families and visitors throughout August.

The film cycle began on August 6 and includes upcoming screenings of films such as ‘Llamarse Olimpia’, ‘Runa Simi’, and ‘Boca Vieja’. These sessions are scheduled for Thursdays, August 20 and 27, at 18:00.

Culture Director Felipe Cárdenas Quibrera noted that the municipality managed the venue selection process since March, with the theater's infrastructure meeting the necessary evaluation standards. The tour, which reaches 25 states across the republic, aims to bring diverse regional stories and identities to audiences outside of traditional cinema halls.
