Soledad de Graciano Sánchez launches HPV vaccination campaign
The municipal government of Soledad de Graciano Sánchez is launching a Human Papillomavirus (HPV) vaccination campaign in local primary schools. Supported by Mayor Juan Manuel Navarro Muñiz, the initiative aims to provide preventive healthcare to students aged 11 to 16.
Scheduled to begin on October 13 at the Francisco Munguía Primary School, the campaign will progressively move through various educational institutions in the municipality. Anahí Rivera Medina, head of the Municipal Medical Service, noted that while the focus is primarily on fifth-grade students, all children and adolescents within the target age range are eligible for the dose.
To participate, parents must provide a signed informed consent document, and students are required to present their national vaccination records to ensure proper data registration by health personnel.
