Soledad Molinuevo announces candidacy for San Miguel de Tucumán mayor

National Deputy Soledad Molinuevo has announced her candidacy for mayor of San Miguel de Tucumán representing the La Libertad Avanza party. The announcement follows discussions with party leaders, including Lisandro Catalán, who is running for governor.

Molinuevo cited the current state of the city, describing it as being in a state of abandonment due to years of unfulfilled promises. She stated her intention to build a serious team to transform the city into a modern urban center.

The election is scheduled for May 9. Molinuevo's candidacy positions La Libertad Avanza to challenge the current administration, specifically facing incumbent mayor Rossana Chalha of the Justicialist Party.
