Soledad Municipal Music School prepares Day of the Dead performance
The Municipal Music School of Soledad de Graciano Sánchez is preparing a special musical presentation to commemorate Day of the Dead festivities. The school's choir, composed of children and adolescents, will perform traditional Mexican songs such as ‘La Bruja’ and ‘La Llorona’ during the inauguration of the altar of the dead at the Municipal Presidency.
Sergio Tenorio Castillo, head of the school, stated that the activity aims to provide a space for students to share their skills with the community while promoting cultural identity and traditional customs. The program currently includes approximately 60 students, with advanced learners participating in various musical ensembles.
Additionally, the municipal government has issued a call for free enrollments at the school, offering classes in piano, guitar, drums, saxophone, trumpet, and choir for children, adolescents, and adults.
