Solgas receives LNG industry awards in Chile

At the 6th International GNL Global Forum held in Santiago, Chile, Solgas commercial director Alessandra Dentone was honored as one of four recipients of the Women in LNG Latin America and the Caribbean Awards 2026. The award recognizes her leadership in developing liquefied natural gas (LNG) solutions for the mining, heavy industry, and freight transport sectors.

Additionally, Solgas was granted the LNG Mobility Awards 2026 for its Home Base LNG station in Trujillo, Peru. Developed in partnership with Grupo Transpesa, the project involved an investment of approximately US$2 million. The station is designed to provide continuous fuel for a fleet of over 100 heavy-duty trucks, serving as a pioneer initiative to reduce environmental impact in Peru's logistics corridors.
