Solheim Cup 2026 arrives at Bernardus Golf in the Netherlands

The 2026 Solheim Cup is set to take place from September 7–13 at Bernardus Golf in Cromvoirt, Netherlands. This marks the first time the prestigious biennial women's golf competition will be held in the Netherlands.

Team Europe is led by captain Anna Nordqvist, who aims to reclaim the trophy from the United States following the American victory in 2024. Nordqvist, a five-time Solheim Cup winner as a player, emphasized her desire to use her recent experience as an active professional to foster better communication and connection with her squad. The European roster includes notable players such as Charley Hull, Céline Boutier, and Esther Henseleit.

Team USA is captained by Angela Stanford. Stanford has indicated that while data and analytics will play a role in course management, her final decisions regarding player pairings will rely on “gut and eyeballs” to account for the emotional intensity of match play. The U.S. team will wear official uniforms designed by B. Draddy and Zero Restriction, featuring historical nods to past American team looks.

In related junior competition, the United States secured the 2026 PING Junior Solheim Cup with a 13-11 victory over Europe at the same venue, successfully defending their title.
