Solheim Cup 2026 begins at Bernardus Golf in the Netherlands

The 20th edition of the Solheim Cup begins on September 11, 2026, at Bernardus Golf in Cromvoirt, Netherlands. This marks the first time the biennial international match-play competition will be held on Dutch soil.

Team USA, captained by Angela Stanford, enters as the defending champions. The American roster features world No. 1 Nelly Korda, alongside players such as Allisen Corpuz, Rose Zhang, and Lauren Coughlin. The opening day features foursomes and four-ball sessions.

Team Europe, led by captain Anna Nordqvist, aims to reclaim the trophy on home soil. The European squad includes high-ranking players Charley Hull and Lottie Woad, as well as veterans like Céline Boutier and Carlota Ciganda.

To manage local traffic and promote sustainability, organizers have implemented a mobility concept focusing on bicycles, trains, and shuttle buses, expecting up to 6,000 cyclists per day. The tournament will run from September 11 to 13, concluding with 12 singles matches.
