Solid State Logic adds OSC integration to System T platform

Solid State Logic (SSL) has announced a major V4.3 update to its System T platform, introducing expanded Open Sound Control (OSC) integration. This update, showcased at IBC 2026, allows external systems and third-party equipment to control System T console parameters via the extensible OSC protocol.

Designed to operate across standard IP connectivity, the integration enables broadcasters to map System T features to any OSC-compliant mixer or controller. This provides remote operators with the ability to manage specific elements of an audio chain—such as faders, mutes, PFL, and AFL—without requiring dedicated SSL hardware. According to SSL Product Manager Berny Carpenter, this flexibility supports increasingly distributed workflows and makes the deployment of throw-down systems easier by allowing the use of various external devices for remote access.
