Solid State Logic releases O-Series V2.0 for Oracle console
Solid State Logic (SSL) has announced the release of O-Series V2.0, a software update for its Oracle console designed to unify the workflow within its Future Analogue ecosystem. The update enables seamless project compatibility between the Oracle and Odyssey consoles. Projects created on an Odyssey can be opened, edited, and re-saved on any Oracle system, with Odyssey-exclusive parameters like dynamics processing and low-pass filters remaining intact during the transfer.
A key feature of the update is O-Motion, a new DAW plug-in-based automation system. This allows console parameter movements to be recorded, edited, and replayed directly within DAW automation playlists and lanes in platforms such as Pro Tools and Logic Pro. This integration allows analogue console moves to be manipulated using the same workflows as software instruments and plug-ins.
Additionally, the update introduces Snapshot Filters, which allow engineers to include or exclude specific channels, processing sections, or parameter groups from snapshot operations. The release also includes Channel Presets, enabling the storage of console settings for instant recall across future sessions.
