Solidarity events scheduled in Pesaro and Segrate

In Pesaro, the City Day of Solidarity will take place on Wednesday, October 14, 2026, at the Teatro Sperimentale. The event honors the memory of Don Gianfranco Gaudiano, 33 years after his death, noting his work against drug addiction and AIDS. Don Luigi Ciotti, founder of Gruppo Abele and president of Libera, will lead a public discussion titled ‘Where has Man gone?’, addressing political inefficiency, global violence, and the impact of artificial intelligence. A second session will be held on October 15 at the Auditorium Scavolini, where Don Ciotti will meet with students to discuss fragility and hope.

In Segrate, a concert titled ‘Concerto per Luca’ is scheduled for Saturday, October 17, at Cascina Commenda. Organized by the AIDO Segrate municipal group, the event honors former president Luca Granelli. Featuring performances by the 451 cover band, Sofia Lo Sciuto, and Libero Mazzilli, the concert aims to raise funds for blood and organ donation awareness and local volunteer activities.
