Solidarity sporting events organized to raise awareness for ALS and breast cancer

Various sporting initiatives are being organized across Spain to support health causes. In Catalonia, Swim for ELA and the La Salle Cambrils Alumni Association (Triple A) have announced a 43-kilometer swim scheduled for October 30. The challenge will begin at the Omega monument in Torredembarra and conclude at the Escales Reials in Cambrils to raise visibility and funds for Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS).

In Alicante, the VI '100 Paladas Solidarias SUMA' challenge was held to support breast cancer awareness. Organized by the Rowing Federation of the Valencian Community and the Real Club Regatas, the event involved 90 athletes participating in rowing competitions. A similar solidarity action is scheduled to take place in Santa Pola on November 7.
