Solidarnost za Kosovo sends 41 Serbian enclave children to Tivat summer camp
Humanitarian group Solidarnost za Kosovo marked its 15th year of sending children from Serbian enclaves in Kosovo and Metohija to the Montenegrin seaside. Founder Arno Gujon said more than 750 youngsters have taken part since the programme began.
This summer, 41 children from villages such as Kosovsko Pomoravlje, Vitina, Mogila, Klokot, Vrbovac and others travelled to Tivat. They will spend the holidays swimming, learning to dive and taking part in cultural excursions, including a visit to the Ostrog Monastery and a cruise on the Bay of Kotor. The participants were selected by the Ras‑Prizren Eparchy on social criteria, prioritising socially vulnerable families and high‑performing students. The initiative is funded by over 12,000 donors, chiefly from France, and continues to operate with a team of educators and sports instructors.
