Solin celebrates Mala Gospa feast with religious ceremonies and traffic restrictions

The city of Solin is celebrating its city day and the feast of Mala Gospa on September 8. The religious festivities are centered at the Sanctuary of Our Lady of the Island, featuring several masses led by Archbishop Zdenko Križić and other clergy, followed by a traditional procession of lights.

Due to the large number of pilgrims and religious events, significant traffic regulations have been implemented. King Zvonimir Street is closed to all traffic from the evening of September 7 until the early hours of September 9. Additionally, temporary parking bans are in effect on Gašpina mlinica, Dr. Martina Žižića, and Zvonimirova streets to ensure the safety of the procession.

Pilgrims are traveling on foot from Sinj toward Solin, primarily using the D1 state road through Dugopolje. Police are monitoring these routes and advise drivers to exercise caution and respect temporary traffic signals and officer instructions.
