Solina Dam: Man survives nighttime jump into water
A man survived a high-altitude jump into the water at the Solina Dam in Poland during the night. Emergency services were alerted around 1:00 AM after a man climbed onto the dam's crest and jumped directly into the water.
Despite the extreme danger of the fall, the individual remained conscious after hitting the water and managed to swim to the shore on his own. Rescue teams, including firefighters from Lesko and Sanok, volunteer firefighters from Polańczyk and Bóbrka, and Bieszczady WOPR rescuers, responded to the scene. After receiving initial medical assistance, the man was handed over to emergency medical services. Police are currently investigating the circumstances of the incident.
