Solingen-Ohligs ISG excludes political groups from children's festival

The Immobilien- und Standortgemeinschaft Solingen-Ohligs (ISG) has decided to exclude the groups ‘Omas gegen Rechts’ and ‘Parents for Future’ from the upcoming Ohligs children's festival on September 6. ISG board member Dr. Teut-Achim Rust stated that the decision stems from a desire to maintain political neutrality, as the organizer views both initiatives as politically oriented.

Rust clarified that the policy is not directed at specific political positions but is a general rule to prevent political actors from participating in the festival. This decision follows concerns raised by several property owners within the ISG membership regarding the involvement of political groups in a children's event.
