Soliss BM Pozuelo wins Women's Handball Copa Diputación

Soliss BM Pozuelo de Calatrava has been crowned champion of the Women's Handball Copa Diputación after defeating BM Bolaños in the final held at the Polideportivo Macarena Aguilar in Bolaños de Calatrava.

Miguel Ángel Valverde, President of the Diputación, attended the match alongside Vice President Patricia Saldaña. Valverde described the match as “the best handball game that can be seen in Castilla-La Mancha” and praised the high level of competition provided by both teams, which are key references for the sport in the province of Ciudad Real.

Valverde expressed support for Soliss Pozuelo ahead of their upcoming participation in the Liga Guerreras Iberdrola and recognized BM Bolaños for their efforts to compete for promotion to the national top tier. He emphasized the provincial administration's commitment to supporting local sports clubs.
