SolitAir expands African network with new routes to Nigeria and Somaliland

SolitAir, a UAE-based B2B cargo airline, has announced the expansion of its African network with new routes to Port Harcourt, Nigeria, and Hargeisa, Somaliland. These additions bring the carrier’s African presence to 20 destinations across 16 countries.

The new routes connect the Gulf to underserved markets via SolitAir’s hub at Dubai World Central (DWC). Port Harcourt International Airport serves as a major gateway for Nigeria’s oil and gas economy, while Egal International Airport supports the export of livestock and agricultural goods from the Somaliland region.

SolitAir currently operates a fleet of seven Boeing 737-800BCF freighters, each with a 20-tonne capacity. The company has set a target to expand its fleet to 20 aircraft by the end of 2027.
