Solitude Aeturnus Names James‑Paul Luna New Vocalist

American doom‑metal band Solitude Aeturnus announced that former Holy Grail and Intranced singer James‑Paul Luna will become its permanent frontman. The group issued a statement saying Luna’s “commanding stage presence and years of experience” will bring “power and intensity” to future live shows.

Luna will make his debut with the band at the Candelabrum Festival in León, Mexico on September 12. He replaces longtime vocalist Robert Lowe, who left the band in April 2026, and follows a recent guest appearance by Jason McMaster at Maryland Deathfest.

Founded in 1987 by guitarist John Perez, Solitude Aeturnus has released six studio albums and reunited in 2023 after a hiatus. The new lineup now includes Luna on vocals, Perez on guitar, and the existing members Edgar Rivera, Lyle Steadham and Logan Cade.
