Solomon Agbasi joins Stellenbosch FC from Hearts of Oak

Ghanaian goalkeeper Solomon Agbasi has signed a long-term contract with South African Premier Soccer League club Stellenbosch FC. The move follows his departure from the Ghanaian side Hearts of Oak.

Agbasi, who previously played for Dreams FC, expressed excitement about his new role, stating, “I feel very excited to be part of Stellenbosch FC.” He has set ambitious goals for his tenure, including helping the club secure a top-four finish in the South African league and competing in continental tournaments such as the CAF Confederation Cup or the Champions League.

The goalkeeper has gained significant international exposure, having traveled with Ghana’s national team, the Black Stars, during preparations for the 2026 FIFA World Cup. His transition to the South African league follows a successful period in the Ghana Premier League and a notable run with Dreams FC in African competition.
