Solomon Islands reach OFC U-19 semi-finals

The Solomon Islands have secured a place in the semi-finals of the OFC U-19 Men's Championship following a 3-1 victory over New Caledonia in Apia, Samoa. Captain Jayroll Patty led the team with a hat-trick, scoring in the 36th, 45+3', and 74th minutes.

The match shifted early when New Caledonia's Kyllian Wiako was sent off for retaliation following a free-kick. Despite the numerical disadvantage, New Caledonia managed to equalize through a Jemmanuel Siwoine header in the 43rd minute. However, Patty's subsequent goals ensured the Solomon Islands took control of Group A, finishing three points ahead of Papua New Guinea and New Caledonia.
