Solomon Islands swears in three new Permanent Secretaries

The Solomon Islands government has sworn in three new Permanent Secretaries to lead key ministries. The ceremony was conducted by Acting Governor-General Sir Albert Rocky Palmer at Government House.

Mr. David Teika Dennis has been appointed to the Ministry of Finance and Treasury. He previously served as Auditor-General and held executive roles in the financial sector, including with the ANZ Banking Group. Mr. Trevor Unusu has been appointed to the Ministry of Police, National Security and Correctional Services. A career diplomat and public servant, Mr. Unusu has held various roles including Counselor to the Solomon Islands High Commissions in Fiji and the United Kingdom.

Mr. Bunyan Sivoro has been re-appointed to lead the Ministry of Culture and Tourism.
