Solothurn police to host community engagement at HESO 2026

The Solothurn Cantonal and City Police will participate in the HESO 2026 autumn fair in Solothurn, Switzerland. Operating from a joint stand in the Rythalle, the police will host a ‘Coffee with a Cop’ initiative to encourage informal dialogue with the public regarding civil courage.

In addition to community engagement, the police will offer information about careers in law enforcement, including a quiz to help potential candidates assess their suitability. An information event specifically focused on the police profession is scheduled for September 24, 2026. The Cantonal Police will also host a special exhibition titled ‘aber SICHER!’ to educate visitors on the correct procedures to follow after a traffic accident.
