SOLOTÜRK performs first aerobatic display in Diyarbakır

The Turkish Air Force's aerobatic team, SOLOTÜRK, performed its first-ever flight demonstration in Diyarbakır. The 30-minute display featured an F-16 conducting high-speed maneuvers, sharp climbs, and dives over historical landmarks, including the UNESCO World Heritage site Hevsel Gardens, the Diyarbakır City Walls, and the İçkale area.

Thousands of spectators gathered to watch the performance, which was held as part of the TEKNOFEST festivities. Diyarbakır Governor Murat Zorluoğlu expressed pride in the event, noting that the demonstration served as an inspiration for local children and youth to pursue careers in aviation. AK Party Diyarbakır Deputy Mehmet Galip Ensarioğlu also attended, commenting on the display of the air force's strength and success.
