Solstice Minerals reports significant copper-gold hits in Western Australia
Solstice Minerals has reported significant drill intercepts at its Nanadie copper-gold project in Western Australia. A combined reverse circulation and diamond drill hole yielded a 169.3-metre intersection grading 0.87 per cent copper and 0.29g/t gold. Notable high-grade sections within this hole included 8 metres at 2.12 per cent copper and 0.45g/t gold, as well as 6.3 metres at 2.65 per cent copper and 0.46g/t gold.
The company noted that drilling east of the anticipated gabbro contact may indicate an emerging eastern mineralised zone. This follows previous breakthrough runs, including a 629-metre section at 0.5 per cent copper and 0.17g/t gold.
Other notable ASX-reported drill intercepts include Kantra Copper’s Nugent strike in South Australia and a high-grade rare earths discovery by Brazilian Rare Earths in Brazil.
