Solukon unveils SFM-AT850 automated depowdering system
Solukon has announced the SFM-AT850, a new generation of automated depowdering systems designed for complex metal parts produced via the Laser Powder Bed Fusion process. The system is intended to replace the company’s existing SFM-AT800-S and SFM-AT1000-S models.
The SFM-AT850 features an increased payload capacity, capable of handling parts weighing up to 1,000 kg. Despite this higher capacity, the machine maintains a more compact footprint than the SFM-AT800-S. It utilizes a front-top loading concept to facilitate the loading of heavy parts via crane.
An additional variant, the SFM-AT850-E, includes ultrasonic excitation to assist in removing powder from intricate geometries, such as medical lattice structures or long internal channels. The system is designed to complement large-format printers like the EOS M 4 ONYX and the Nikon SLM Solutions NXG XII 600. The new system is scheduled for its world premiere at Formnext 2026.
