Soluna expands Texas operations through Bitdeer partnership and land acquisition

Soluna Holdings has entered into a co-mining agreement with Bitdeer Technologies Group to deploy approximately 28 MW of Bitcoin mining equipment at its Project Kati 1 site in Willacy County, Texas. The deployment, which is expected to begin in September 2026, will provide approximately 1.93 EH/s of hash rate. Under the agreement, Bitdeer will provide Sealminer A2 Pro Air mining equipment, while Soluna will manage the site, power, and operations, with both parties sharing the resulting mining proceeds.

Additionally, Soluna has completed the purchase of 397 acres in Briscoe County, Texas, for the development of Project Dorothy 3. This planned renewable-first AI computing campus has a potential capacity of up to 300 MW. The new site is located adjacent to Soluna’s existing Project Dorothy 1 and 2 sites and the 150 MW Briscoe Wind Farm, allowing for direct access to company-owned power generation.
