Solvalla hosts Kriteriet and Oaks harness racing qualifiers

Major harness racing events are scheduled for Sunday, headlined by the Kriteriet and Oaks qualifiers at Solvalla. A total of 144 three-year-olds will compete for 24 final spots in the Svenskt Travkriterium and Svenskt Travoaks, with the finals set for October 10. Trainer Daniel Wäjersten is notable in the field with 18 horses entered across both classes.

Other significant racing activities include the annual final at Dannero, where Marcus Lilius has been named driver champion. In international racing, Milan will host qualifiers for the UET Grand Prix, while Vincennes in Paris will hold the Prix des Elites, a Group I monté race for four-year-olds featuring a Portuguese cultural theme.
