Solvero Wines introduces 2026 releases at Tofino celebration

Alison Moyes of Solvero Wines introduced the winery’s spring 2026 releases during the Tofino Wine and Dine Celebration. Based in Garnet Valley, Summerland, the winery emphasizes biodiversity and sustainable farming methods.

The 2026 release includes the inaugural Happy Valley Vineyard 2025 Riesling, described as a complex, slightly off-dry vintage with notes of green apple, stone, and tropical fruits. The 2025 Solvero Pinot Gris is produced using grapes sourced from Kozuki Family Vineyards and Happy Valley Vineyard, involving hand-harvesting and fermentation in stainless steel and neutral French oak.

Additionally, the 2022 Pinot Noir, grown in Garnet Valley, is a blend of Dijon clones aged for 12 months in French oak. Moyes noted that the Pinot Noir paired effectively with pork dumplings from Victoria-based Dumpling Drop during the event.
