Som Rugby first team loses leadership after defeat to Arpajon

Som Rugby's first team suffered its first defeat of the season during the fifth round of Fédérale 2, losing 32-29 to Arpajon. The loss resulted in Millau losing its position as league leaders, with Rodez taking the top spot.

Despite an early score by Austruy, Millau struggled with defensive lapses and static phase errors, allowing Arpajon to score three tries. Although the team rallied with two tries before halftime and a late effort by Mguca in the 57th minute, late errors prevented a comeback.

In contrast to the senior team's setback, the Som Rugby Espoirs (youth/reserve team) secured a victory in their match against Arpajon. The Espoirs displayed strong defensive play and clinical finishing, including tries from Mateo Alric, Tristan Benoist, and Charly Hautcoeur.
