Somali delegation visits Tanzania to study public service reforms

A Somali government delegation, led by Minister in the Prime Minister's Office Hirsi Jama Ganni, visited the Tanzania Public Service College (TPSC) to study public service reforms and institutional management.

Somalia intends to establish its own National Public Service College to provide training for government employees, ranging from new recruits to senior leaders. The delegation sought to learn from Tanzania's experience regarding curriculum development, digital transformation, and the modernization of government systems.

Minister Ganni emphasized that public administration reform is a national priority for Somalia, noting that government success depends on skilled personnel capable of translating policy into tangible results. The visit aims to foster long-term cooperation in areas such as curriculum design, trainer exchange, and the use of digital platforms for training.
