Somerset car key burglary ring: Three men jailed

Three men have been sentenced at Taunton Crown Court for their involvement in a series of car key burglaries across Somerset. The offences, which occurred between March 16 and May 5, targeted locations including Burnham-on-Sea, Weston-super-Mare, and Glastonbury.

Dylan Morgan, 23, pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit burglary and driving while disqualified. He received a 45-month sentence, with 18 months to be served in prison and the remainder on licence, alongside a four-and-a-half-year driving disqualification.

Thomas Maguire, 19, and George Ruja, 19, both pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit burglary and received 30-month sentences. Maguire will serve nine months in prison, while Ruja will serve 12 months, with the rest of their sentences served on licence.
