Regional governments implement housing and property initiatives

Various regional governments and agencies are implementing housing and property regularization initiatives across Argentina, Chile, and the United States.

In Argentina, several provinces are executing housing programs. In Córdoba, Governor Martín Llaryora announced new housing construction and educational technology deliveries. In Santa Cruz, Governor Claudio Vidal delivered social housing to families, including one resident who had waited 21 years. In San Luis, Governor Claudio Poggi facilitated the delivery of homes through the ‘Tenemos Futuro’ program and issued adjudication decrees to numerous families. Additionally, in Tucumán, Vice Governor Osvaldo Jaldo defended the province's management of public works and infrastructure amidst political criticism.

In Chile, the Ministry of National Assets is conducting a campaign in the Biobío region to help families obtain legal property titles. In the Metropolitan Region, 132 families received ownership titles to ensure legal certainty over their homes.

In the United States, twelve families in Somerton, Arizona, received keys to newly constructed homes through the Mutual Self-Help Housing Program, supported by the Housing America Corporation and USDA Rural Development.
