Somma Lombardo Local Police report nearly 200 summer patrols

The Local Police of Somma Lombardo has released its summer activity report, noting that nearly 200 patrols were conducted during the season. Despite a current shortage of four agents, the command is in the process of hiring new personnel to reach a planned total of 18 units.

Commander Andrea Sacco reported that the intensive monitoring resulted in no significant incidents of micro-criminality or brawls over the last three months. The command also noted that high levels of attention were maintained despite the town's proximity to Malpensa Airport.

Future plans include strengthening evening and night services, with new hires specifically designated for external services and territory control. Additionally, a fixed patrol has been established at the local station during strategic hours to increase security for students and commuters.
