Son Banya settlement modified to evade police control

Authorities in Palma have identified a strategic transformation in the Son Banya settlement designed to evade law enforcement. Investigations by the National Police and Local Police reveal that the area has been modified with up to five different access points to facilitate drug trafficking and movement.

These new routes were reportedly created using heavy machinery, with some paths being paved while others are concealed by large mounds of earth, trash, and other materials. This structural change complicates police efforts, as the previous configuration allowed for surveillance to be concentrated on a single main entrance. In response, the Palma City Council has begun using heavy machinery to intervene and dismantle illegal constructions and access points that violate municipal regulations.
