Son La police seize motorcycle from 14-year-old performing stunts
Authorities in Son La province have confiscated a motorcycle after a 14-year-old boy was caught performing dangerous stunts on National Highway 4G. The incident, which occurred in Chieng Mai commune, was identified by the Son La Provincial Traffic Police after monitoring social media footage of the violations.
The teenager, identified as L. D. K., was observed riding a motorcycle without license plates or rearview mirrors while carrying a passenger and performing wheelies. Because the driver is between 14 and 16 years old and lacked the proper qualifications, officials issued a warning to both the minor and his parents. As a supplementary penalty, the motorcycle was seized by law enforcement.
Police have urged families to increase supervision of their children and strictly avoid providing vehicles to minors who are not legally qualified to drive, noting that such behaviors pose a high risk of accidents.
