Son Tra Peninsula: Student rescued after falling into ravine

A 19-year-old student was rescued after falling into a deep ravine on the Son Tra Peninsula in Da Nang during the night of August 11. The victim, identified as N. T. L., was located near a resort area on the mountain.

Local authorities, including the Son Tra Ward Military Command, responded to the emergency around 8:00 PM. Due to the steep, treacherous terrain and darkness, rescue teams utilized specialized equipment and ropes to reach the victim and pull them to safety. The student's health is reported to be stable.

Authorities have issued warnings to tourists and residents to avoid standing near cliff edges for photography and to strictly follow safety signs in hazardous areas of the peninsula.
