South Korean actress Son Ye Jin has expressed humorous regret over viral comments regarding her son's appearance. During an appearance on the JTBC program ‘Please Take Care of My Refrigerator’, she remarked that given his looks, it would be ‘difficult for him not to become an actor’.

Following the viral reaction, Son Ye Jin addressed the matter on Instagram, noting that she likely exaggerated the claim to make people laugh. She admitted that while boasting about one's child can be ‘annoying to others’, it is difficult for parents not to view their children as the most handsome or funny in the world.

Despite the public interest in her family life with husband Hyun Bin, the couple maintains privacy regarding their son's face. Son Ye Jin also used the platform to promote her upcoming drama, ‘The Scandal’, which is scheduled to premiere on Netflix on September 18, 2026.
