Sonam Khatun converts to Hinduism and marries Sanjeev Kumar in Bareilly
Sonam Khatun, a resident of the Begusarai district in Bihar, has converted to Hinduism and married Sanjeev Kumar, a resident of Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh. The couple met while working at different companies in Gujarat, where their rented rooms were located opposite each other.
Their relationship began through Instagram, which served as the medium for their friendship and subsequent romance. Following their decision to marry, the couple traveled to the Agastya Muni Ashram in Bareilly. There, Sonam Khatun underwent a Vedic conversion ceremony led by Acharya KK Shankhdhar, adopting the name Sonam Devi.
Sonam stated that she has held faith in Hinduism for five years and considers Radha and Krishna her deities. She expressed that she chose to convert of her own volition to live her life freely. The couple has committed to staying together following their marriage ceremony.
