SONATUR advances housing and social projects in Bobo-Dioulasso

The Société nationale d’aménagement des terrains urbains (SONATUR) is advancing its real estate and social infrastructure programs in Bobo-Dioulasso, Burkina Faso. During a field visit on October 2, 2026, Minister of Construction Mikaïlou Sidibé and SONATUR Director General Boureima Ouattara inspected the Bindougousso site, where the first phase of the Dafra residences is currently under construction. This phase involves 66 extensible villas, with the work execution rate estimated at over 75%.

In addition to housing, SONATUR is implementing social responsibility initiatives in the Dogona area. The company donated two million CFA francs worth of medicine and medical equipment to the Dogona Health and Social Promotion Center (CSPS). Furthermore, SONATUR has launched infrastructure projects for the Dogona public primary school, including the construction of a perimeter wall valued at over 50 million CFA francs and a new borehole estimated at 14 million CFA francs to ensure access to water.
