Sonder Youth charity hosts 24-hour silence challenge

Eight residents of the South Coast will participate in the Do Nothing Challenge at Bawley Vale Estate from November 24 to November 25. The event requires participants to avoid phones, scrolling, entertainment, and all forms of distraction for 24 hours.

The initiative aims to raise funds for Sonder Youth, a mental health charity based in Shoalhaven. Avalon Bourne, the founder and chief executive of Sonder Youth, stated that the challenge is intended to address the constant societal expectation of productivity and the discomfort many feel when attempting to slow down in an overstimulated world.
