Sondre Lerche releases new album ‘Acrobats’ and single ‘Follow The River’

Norwegian artist Sondre Lerche has released his new album, ‘Acrobats’, marking his first collection of new material in four years. The album follows his critically acclaimed double album, ‘Avatars of Love’.

Produced in collaboration with Matias Tellez, Kato Ådland, Vetle Junker, Alexander von Mehren, and Jørgen Træen, the project features a mix of intimate and grand arrangements. The album includes contributions from various musicians, including the Norwegian Radio Orchestra and vocalist Veslemøy Narvesen.

As part of the release, Lerche has issued the single ‘Follow The River’. While the single version is four minutes long, the album version is expected to extend to nine minutes. The track is described as a romantic disco odyssey that draws inspiration from Gustav Mahler and the Pet Shop Boys. Lerche is scheduled to tour this autumn, including several performances at Parkteatret in Oslo.
