Sondre Sundby performs through wrist injury on Skal vi danse

Sondre Sundby competed in the Halloween episode of the dance competition Skal vi danse despite suffering a wrist injury. Sundby reported that the injury had been causing significant pain since the previous Sunday and worsened during a dress rehearsal.

To participate in the broadcast, Sundby traveled to Lillestrøm to receive a local anesthetic injection in his wrist. He and professional dancer Norunn Ringvoll performed an Argentine tango to Michael Jackson’s “Thriller” in zombie costumes, earning 30 points from the judges.

Sundby noted that adrenaline helped mask the pain during the performance. An MRI scan has reportedly confirmed that there is no fracture in his arm.
