Sondrio Police Commissioner issues warning to drunk driver

The Police Commissioner of Sondrio has issued an ‘Oral Warning’ to a 24-year-old resident of Como following a series of dangerous incidents. The measure was taken after the individual was observed driving under the influence of alcohol and performing reckless maneuvers that threatened public road safety.

During the police intervention, the man reportedly became aggressive and oppositional, shoving officers and attempting to evade control by entering private property before being apprehended. Investigations revealed a history of police involvement, including previous offenses related to drug abuse, driving while intoxicated, and resisting public officials.

The Oral Warning serves as a formal preventive measure to demand lawful conduct. Authorities noted that if the individual's dangerous behavior persists, the case may be referred to the Judicial Authority for a special public security surveillance order.
