Słoneczna Street construction progresses in Rębiechowo and Czaple

Construction is progressing on Słoneczna Street, a project designed to connect the settlements of Rębiechowo and Czaple within the Żukowo Municipality. The investment includes the road itself, pedestrian and bicycle infrastructure, and comprehensive utility installations.

Recent activities include earthworks and structural layers for a 300-meter section, as well as the installation of storm drainage inlets. On a subsequent 200-meter stretch, demolition work has begun to prepare for sanitary sewage installation. Additionally, sidewalk surfaces have been completed near Żurawia Street, and foundations for street lighting poles have been installed.

Ongoing work involves paving, including the laying of curbs and concrete edges, and the installation of lighting cables from the Strzelenka River culvert toward Rębiechowo. The total cost of the project is approximately 16 million PLN, which includes 5.3 million PLN in funding from the Government Road Development Fund. While local traffic disruptions and lane narrowings may occur, the contractor has stated that Słoneczna Street will remain passable.
