Soner Yılmaz targeted in armed attack in Istanbul

Soner Yılmaz, Chairman of Tek-Art Holding and son of the late former Minister of Youth and Sports Mehmet Ali Yılmaz, was the target of an armed attack at his home in the Bebek neighborhood of Istanbul's Beşiktaş district.

During the incident, Yılmaz was struck by three bullets in both legs. Following initial medical intervention, he was transported to a hospital where he underwent surgery. Medical reports indicate that the operation was successful and his condition is currently stable.

Istanbul police have launched an investigation to identify and apprehend the perpetrators. Authorities are currently reviewing security camera footage from the surrounding area to determine the motive and the identity of those involved in the shooting.
